We understand each other like no one else. And we can help each other arrest our addictions. I find comfort and relief in knowing I am not alone. Thank-you for your wonderful comments. Keep them coming. What’s going on with you? What’s working? What isn’t? Someone else is facing or has faced the same issues you are. We’re in the same boat.

Your opening sentence is very true. It’s been 30 years since I had my last drink and I just realized this year that I never forgave myself for the years of alcoholic drinking, so I’m working on that now.
Congratulations on the book! The awareness you are raising is wonderful!

On June 30th, I bought your book. A week later, I checked myself into detox for my addiction to alcohol. I had been drinking between one and four bottles of wine every single day for seven years prior. You helped me understand that I am not alone and that I do not have to hit rock bottom to ask for help. Today is my 7th day sober and I’m not miserable thanks to AA and all of the wonderful people in the program. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
